MYSTERY NIGHT 2008

Ok. so basically this is the most fun night in all youth history. Let me explain to those of you who have no clue as to what this is.
FBC puts this on every year, and basically it is a mystery. ha. Well, all the Jr. High and High School staff are dispersed throughout all of Murrieta, dressed in some of the most ridiculous costumes you've ever seen. The students start out at mulligans and have to figure out clues to know where the staff are hidden. It is like a big scavenger hunt, but WAY better. So, all the parents drive the groups of kids around to the different locations, and when they arrive they have to do some kind of activity.

My group, me and Korina were dressed as fruit, I was a banana and she was an apple and we were in front of Juice It Up. We made the kids do a relay race, where they had to pick up a fork using only their mouths, use the fork to get a piece of fruit(the fruit was pretty nasty. Most of it was canned, and there was this one kind of fruit that I have no clue what it is). So they had to use their mouths to pick up the fruit, run across to the other team members and feed it to them never once  using their hands.

It was great fun. We had 15 different stations and I heard there were over 170 kids. Praise God. That means that 170 students were able to at the end of the night, sit under the Word of God and hear the Gospel preached to them of the saving grace of Christ.
I am so thankful to the Lord for allowing everyone to have a good time and to stay safe and that His gospel was proclaimed tonight. May all the glory be to His holy name
